Under the dynamic leadership of festival director Anna Bourozikas these films are featured in the inaugural women's only Rouge program and competition, in the Setting Sun Short Film Festival, produced and created by Poppy Kat Media at the Sun Theatre, Yarraville, Australia. The Rouge program and competition was sponsored by film producer Sue Maslin and author Rosalie Ham, who donated $1000 for The Dressmaker Award for Best Film by a Female Filmmaker.
