In a world that is screaming, bleeding, and trying to heal, when nothing makes sense, as we collectively feel deceived and almost delusional - When the "unexpected" is the new standard; Tomorrow seems far, and hope sounds like a fairytale. Aren't We all fighting for a Better Tomorrow? This is not a film that claims to bring a conclusion or relates to the wisdom of science, religion, or politics. This film is a DANCE of thoughts, a glimmer of hope, and a journey with 45 people from different walks of life sharing their own truth. In a grieving world that forgot that we are all connected - We danced to remember, danced IN THE NAME OF TOMORROW, for a better tomorrow, for OUR tomorrow.

Interview with Director/Producer Celine A. Beader

Congratulations! Why did you make your film?

Thank you! For the Love of Film, for the Love of Humanity and to try to send a message of hope during these harsh times the world is witnessing.

This Film is a dance of thoughts, a pure and honest sharing with people from around the world. When we usually talk about a documentary, we talk about a question, a quest, or a person with a theme trying to reach a specific answer at the end. In The Name of tomorrow is a mix of interviews and company dance exploring the answers to existential questions in different expressions.

We interviewed 45 people from different walks of life, backgrounds, and ages, including poets, philosophers, chefs, pilots, mothers and fathers, businessmen, yoga instructors, students, artists, engineers…

And we made 10 "tableaux" of dance following every question. There is no conclusion, final point after a build-up, but a movement, a full circle.

The quest in this Film was unity in our diversity, honesty, similarity in our differences, and answers of hope and Love regardless of political, religious, or dogmatic beliefs. The film is a message of hope that is not based on predetermined prescriptions or concepts but on an honest, genuine, and transparent human dialogue. We can change if we are the change we want!

How do personal and universal themes work in your film?

All the questions asked are universal, What is Love, Life, Death, or War... What was personal were the answers to these by the interviewees. Each interviewee allowed him/herself to talk his truth and so share their vision.

On the other hand, all performers/actors used the universal expression of dance to convey their answers to the same questions.

Also, the music, the other universal medium, answered the same questions we tried to explore.

In this perspective, the Film became like a canvas that each of us colored with his form of answers. Therefore, my goal for the Film is to reach the widest audience possible as it carries a life pulse, feelings, and human interactions that speak to all of us, reflecting our fears, emotions, thoughts, and how we co-exist.

How have the script and film evolved over the course of their development?

The film kept transforming and following the journey behind it: From one country to another, from one person to another, from dance to another, from one stage of production to the other.... this documentary held all these thoughts "offered" and got shaped by them.

What type of feedback have you received so far?

Until now we received a lot of positive feedback, a lot of people were moved and touched by the honesty and how profound yet personal each interviewee was. It made them think and they searched for their own answers to the proposed thread of thoughts.

We also received feedback that the music and the dances supported and colored the answers making the film a coherent piece.

Has the feedback surprised or challenged your point of view?

I was pleasantly surprised and humbled that the message intend was reaching.

What are you looking to achieve by having your film more visible on www.wearemovingstories.com?

I would like more people to know about the film, to follow its journey and to watch it once it's released. The more eyes the film meets, the more hearts it touches; this is what is the most important to the people that worked with me and to me.

What type of impact and/or reception would you like this film to have?

It's a very difficult question! :)
but I think it's everything I said before... simply reaching the widest audience, as it holds a message of hope and a beautiful sharing.

What’s a key question that will help spark a debate or begin a conversation about this film?

Every question in the film can spark a debate, every aspect, and choice. As it's very personal yet very much open to interpretation and to involvement.

It's a very up-to-date film, it communicates the fears of people during these hard times and how when we face uncontrollable events we put everything back in perspective and what usually are things we don't think about it, we start pondering about everything, the meaning of life, the meaning of staying, the meaning of being together...

Would you like to add anything else?

I would like to thank everyone who believed in this film, as I would not have been able to make it without them. I am grateful to the people who shared their thoughts, ideas, and inspiring life experiences, the crew for their professionalism and belief in the goals of this project, and the actors for their extraordinary cooperation. And my husband, Ognjen Beader, his beautiful music that brought a new and beautiful aspect to the film and for his continuous support.

What other projects are the key creatives developing or working on now?

I am currently developing many films and series projects that hopefully will start production very soon. I am also finishing my book, and four of my art pieces have been selected to participate in an international exhibition, in galleries in Milano and The Canary Islands but also in the metaverse :)

Ognjen is working on his new album while working on the score of web series that is in post-production.
