Congratulations! Why did you make your film?
Wow, that's a huge question. I'd say I was driven by a desire to create something that adds little value to this world - and realising an opportunity to spread Glenn's music and story further afield than one man could travel solo seemed like a good place to start.
Imagine I’m a member of the audience. Why should I watch this film?
It's an audio-visual feel-good message that we all need right now. And then there's the music. It's just incredible. I'm yet to meet a human that doesn't fall in love with it.
How do personal and universal themes work in your film?
I've been interested in inter-generational exchange for a long time. I think we're missing a trick in not hanging out with people of all ages - learning up and down the spectrum of time. I've also had a long-time passion for identity politics and processes. I'm enamoured by those brave souls who step outside the normative box and carve new ways of being.
How have the script and film evolved over the course of their development?
I wrote the film after my first trip to meet and film with Glenn. So I had a master interview and a strong vision for the structure, thematics and aesthetics of the film. Then that magic thing happened where everything I'd written started to unfold in front of the camera. For which I am very grateful.
What type of feedback have you received so far?
Many generous words and a light sprinkling of tears.
Has the feedback surprised or challenged your point of view?
Not yet. Here's hoping.
What are you looking to achieve by having your film more visible on www.wearemovingstories.com?
We're looking to raise awareness of the film, Glenn's story and his music - so part of that is also attracting distributors and buyers globally.
Who do you need to come on board (producers, sales agents, buyers, distributors, film festival directors, journalists) to amplify this film’s message?
Sales agents, buyers & distributors.
What’s a key question that will help spark a debate or begin a conversation about this film?
What can a filmmaker practise in order to responsibly write the story of another persons' life?
What other projects are the key creatives developing or working on now?
I've another few projects on the boil. Very different stories to Keyboard Fantasies but in essence, similar themes are bubbling up again.

About the writer, director and producer:
What started as a personal infatuation with a record spiralled into a debut feature from director POSY DIXON as she developed a close friendship with Glenn over Skype three years ago. The experience of co-creating such an intimate personal history has done nothing but compound her interest in archives, oral histories and intergenerational exchange.
