Congratulations! Why did you make your film?

Originally it went up as a live sketch for the UCB Maude team "Nipsey." Everyone on the team loved the sketch so we decided to shoot it.

How have the script and film evolved over the course of their development?

Lots of rewrites to make it funnier!

AMANDA BARAMKI is a stand-up comedian, writer and director who has been featured on AXS TV'S "Gotham Comedy Live," "Laughs TV" on FOX, The Boston Comedy Festival, The Women In Comedy Festival, The She-Devil Comedy Festival, The NY Arab-American Comedy Festival, Austin SketchFest and SF Sketch Fest. She was a writer on the UCB Maude team “Nipsey” which later became UCB’s Weekend Sketch Team for two years. She contributed as a writer to @someecards and her jokes have appeared in Time Out NY as "Joke of the Week" and the NY Post's "Best Jests." She directed The People’s Improv Theatre sketch team “Candy Ass” for two years as well as directed multiple video sketches. Her pilot “Searching” was a Second Rounder in Austin Film Fest, a semi-finalist in NYTVF and a finalist in FutureFemmeFest. SHANE DUCKWORTH (cinematographer) has been working in the film industry since graduating from The College of Santa Fe in 2005, with a degree in Moving Image Arts. There, he focused his studies on Cinematography and Directing. He joined the International Cinematographers Guild in 2006. Shane has worked on major Hollywood films and TV shows including Terminator Salvation and Breaking Bad.
