Congratulations! Why did you make your film?
“Burning Bridges” gave me an outlet to tell weird and wacky stories and to bring together and collaborate with friends I’ve met throughout the years.
Imagine I’m a member of the audience. Why should I watch this film?
It’s irreverent fun that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
How do personal and universal themes work in your film?
We explore a lot of the B.S. and rejection that artists put up with on a daily basis. I can definitely relate and hope it resonates with others as well!
How have the script and film evolved over the course of their development and production?
I come from an improv background, so we’re always open to play with lines and go with the flow on the day. As the series has progressed, it’s definitely gotten a little darker. I’m a big fan of dark, dark comedy.
What type of feedback have you received so far?
We’ve gotten a lot of festival love for our most recent episode, “The Accidental Porn Star”. Overall, the feedback’s been overwhelmingly positive!
Has the feedback surprised or challenged your point of view?
I’m glad that people seem to like our cheeky brand of humor!
What are you looking to achieve by having your film more visible on www.wearemovingstories.com?
I’d love to expand our audience and to get people fired up for more.
Who do you need to come on board (producers, sales agents, buyers, distributors, film festival directors, journalists) to amplify this film’s message?
We’re pretty set on the production front, but any of the other parties would be a boon!
What type of impact and/or reception would you like this film to have?
More than anything, I just want to make people laugh, cringe, and laugh again.
What’s a key question that will help spark a debate or begin a conversation about this film?
Has something like this happened to you?
Would you like to add anything else?
Check us out on YouTube’s Convergence Music Channel! Or watch the episode in it’s entirety at https://youtu.be/aGSeshv-O8U.
What are the key creatives developing or working on now?
Alison Lani writes/specs like a maniac, works at Insurgent Media, and just appeared on the 2nd season of Sony’s “Powers”.
Joe Zohar joined forces with Oceana Branding and shoots tons of EDM music videos for acts like Tiesto, Cash Cash, and The Chainsmokers.
Steve Vasquez, Jr. is finishing production on the documentary “Lost in America” and works at Woven.
Natalie Palamides voices “Buttercup” in the new PowerPuff Girls.
