About the director and producer: 40 year old Kuwaiti female director & screenwriter. I just started my journey last year as a filmmaker and am about to graduate from Prague Film School & plan on continuing filmmaking in the months & years to come.

Why did you make this film?

Both as a diploma film for my PFS graduation next week & primarily as an expression to emotionally & spiritually connect with others.

Imagine I’m a member of the audience. Why should I watch this film?

It is a story about connections, worldly and other worldly, about the vigor of life & love, the fragility of illness & death and the mystery of all the layers of life, seen & unseen.

What led you to this story?

Personal experiences with perseverance, faith, love, spirituality.

What are you looking to achieve by having your film more visible on this platform?

The simple pleasure of sharing a film that could emotionally move an audience, having an audience to embark on the journey of the characters as a means to connect with people in this particular creative medium. I believe any video is made to be watched and/or shared.

Who do you need to come on board (producers, sales agents, buyers, distributors, film festival directors, journalists) to amplify this film’s message?

Buyers, distributors, film festival directors, journalists.

What type of impact would you like this film to have?

I want it to impact anyone who can relate to it, but also emotionally impact those who have not had a similar experience as that which the characters have.

What’s a key question that will help spark a debate or begin a conversation about this film?

Is there more to reality than what meets the eye?

What next for you? What films are you developing or directing?

This is my first 9 minute film. I have four other short ones ranging from 3 minutes to 7 minutes. However this is the most professional one I have to date. I plan on moving back to Kuwait and start filming my first short film there, hopefully by October. I plan on working on the script over the summer, and am looking forward to - hopefully create films for the rest of my life.
