Congratulations! Why did you make your film?
I made this short film because I felt the deep need to show the changes that we feel when we make a trip - how we traverse natural beauty of the landscape and how this can affect our life as we know it.
Imagine I’m a member of the audience. Why should I watch this film?
I think we've all lived a similar experience. Being in a place that moves us and feeling that this is where we belong and asking ourselves how we can continue from this realization. We can all identify with the characters.
How do personal and universal themes work in your film?
It is about an eternal personal quest. The philosophical and existential question that makes us wonder who we are. Personally, I think we spend our life trying to answer this question.
How have the script and film evolved over the course of their development and production?
The script is simply a guide. It serves as a starting point. On the set, we work from the effort made by the technical team and cast. It is magical teamwork.
What type of feedback have you received so far?
The feedback we received was wonderful. Many have identified with the search of the characters and have been moved by the beauty of the landscapes of Puerto Madryn.
What are you looking to achieve by having your film more visible on www.wearemovingstories.com?
We are looking for the short film to be seen by more viewers.
Who do you need to come on board (producers, sales agents, buyers, distributors, film festival directors, journalists) to amplify this film’s message?
Above all we are looking for sales agents, buyers, distributors, film festival directors.
What type of impact and/or reception would you like this film to have
We hope that the audience is moved and feels a part of the film.
What’s a key question that will help spark a debate or begin a conversation about this film?
What happens when you find what you are not looking for?
Would you like to add anything else?
“The trip” is a short film made by a group of friends, made with love and a lot of effort. It is a luxury to have the technical team we had. The shoot was a beautiful experience for everyone and I am happy to find that spirit reflected in the short film.
